The "Little Details"

As wedding planners and stylists, we thrive on the "little details"!  After many months of liaising with our couples, checking and double checking lists, their wedding day arrives, and although its hands on from the moment we arrive, to the end of the day, its the styling and setting up prior to the wedding and the physical transformation that makes all the long hours worthwhile.

In this blog we would like to show you the floral arrangements we created, the bouquets, pew ends and vintage style displays which formed the basis of this wedding: an english country garden.

We have to start at the beginning though......... we met our lovely bride with her mum at the venue almost a year to the day before.

The venue was Pamphill Village Hall, Wimborne and it is set in a rural and idylic setting with surrounding fields and countryside.  In fact you would not necessarily know it existed.

During the tour of the village hall we chatted about many matters, including the lack of light, the ceiling (which wasnt particularly attractive) and the bowling alley (yes really!) See below photo!

However, I assured our 'bride to be' that these were not necessarily problems, and I could overcome these areas of concern with some very crafty "wedding DIY".  The wedding styling  took 2 whole days with two lovely assistants, Conny and Sophie helping me.  However, it was indeed a true transformation.    Our styling wands had been well and truely waved and the magic had begun.....

Here is a photo of the same hall on the morning of the wedding.

The satisfaction we felt was amazing...... but the best bit of all was our bride's reaction the day before her wedding .... "it's just how I dreamt it would be ... its absolutely beautiful"

So to finish off here are few more of the photos of a very special wedding, and a very special village hall.

The room sparkled with fairy lights, and lots of tealights and the country garden style continued with the pretty floral bunting.

Here we have one of our bespoke fabric hearts which we make to order to co-ordinate with wedding colours and themes.  This one had soft pastels, ditzy patterns, hessian and lace and our bride loved having a momento of her day to use in her own home.

Our very pretty hat stand..

and of course our lovely bride in her fabulous vintage styled lace dress

We hope you have enjoyed a little insight into what we can offer - its not just crockery hire...we have our styling wands too!
